Kimbo Slice Victorious 5th Time In Roll Under Management of Icey Mike Imber

On May 12, 2012 Kimbo Slice Ferguson entered a professional, heavy weight boxing ring for his fifth time in Concho, Oklahoma at the Lucky Star Casino. Icey Mike Imber, Slice’s manager and best friend was at his side as always along the rest of Team Kimbo.

Kimbo Slice was going against boxer Jesse Porter, a well trained boxer that perhaps was not expecting Kimbo Slice’s signature knock out- blast of a punch on the first round, since Slice’s fight went well into the fourth round and judges made final decision. Though with knock out or not, Kimbo Slice came out on top, victorious one more time and now once again in his professional, boxing match against- Jesse Porter.

Kimbo Slice and Mike Imber prepared for this fight with a vengeance. Perhaps a motivating factor is that this team that has been on a more than obvious, winning streak, have been actively involved in spreading awareness on Autism with an organization named “Our Own Place” with founder Stacey Wohl. Charity work, spreading Awareness on this disorder to as many people as they can possibly reach is right on top of their list and they take as serious as boxing fight.

Kimbo Slice for the fifth time in a roll has won a boxing match under the management of Icey Mike Imber. Together they stand as a team and with each victory it pushes them more and gives them ore incentive to keep spreading Autism Awareness to fans and to people across the board.

Icey Mike Imber & Kimbo Slice Working To Promote Awareness On Autism

Icey Mike Imber & Kimbo Slice are best known for being a dream team of a collaboration as manager and talent. Mike Imber is Kimbo Slice’s manager & promoter, but first and foremost, his friend. During back yard brawls/street fights, Mike Imber was able to detect an uncanny fight talent in his best bud- Kimbo Slice. Since then Icey Mike Imber blew him up on the internet where he became a house hold name for all the “underground fighting” enthusiasts and now he’s a heavy weight, professional boxer/four time consecutive winner.

But now the dream team have come together for another cause and one very important cause and that’s to promote awareness on Autism- though they’re very busy with plans for another fight, right now they’re busier with charity work. They’re completely submerged and devoted in promoting and spreading awareness on Autism. As of late, they’ve joined forces with Stacey Wohl founder and creator of Our Own Place, an organization/charity and center solely committed to educating people on this disorder as well as helping children with special needs and their families through an assortment of activities/programs. Mike Imber & Kimbo Slice are working closely with Stacey Wohl and putting in their all as they work together in such an important cause.

Kimbo Slice Vs. Brian Green- Kimbo Slice Victorious for the 4th Time In a Roll

Kimbo Slice went to O’Reilly Center in Springfield, Mo on March 23, 2012 to face his greatest opponent ever. He was accompanied by his long time friend/manager/promoter and the rest of Team Kimbo.

Kimbo Slice Vs. Brian Green was a fight to be reckoned with. Two fighters who have never been defeated and both are MMA fighters. For both fighters it was the biggest fight with the most threatening opponent  ever. However, despite Kimbo Slice’s age and little experience in professional boxing, he came out of the ring victorious. Note: This is the 4th time in a roll.

It’s safe to say that Kimbo Slice sure is on a winning streak under the management of Mike Imber and he’s natural born, ass kicking talent. Furthermore, Team Kimbo has donated the boxing gloves that Kimbo used on Kimbo Slice Vs. Brian Green fight to ASA- The Autism Society along with a large sum of money that has not been disclosed.

These two guys together are a perfect collaboration. I suppose it helps that they’ve been friends for so long and respect each other beyond a business relationship. Tune in for continuous news on Kimbo Slice and Mike Imber right here on IceyMikeImber Blog.

Check out what Icey Mike had to say: “I think it was Kimbo’s personality that transformed his image into a positive brand name.. He handled the attention and the stress that comes with it like he lived a previous life and dealt with it before.. but, realitykings as a team helped launch Kimbo into the mainstream.. From there it was cbs , showtime , spike and the ufc that made him a household name.”

While some have fun running their mouths calling Kimbo Slice an attraction, not a champion; time will tell! I personally look forward to watching Kimbo take down his competitors one by one as he rises to the top. I even look forward to seeing who will be the first to take him down. Just as much as I enjoy seeing him KO those who come against him I salute those who are actually able to take him down as many aren’t so lucky.

These signs all begin before a child is three years old. Autism affects information processing in the brain by altering how nerve cells and their synapses connect and organize; how this occurs is not well understood. It is one of three recognized disorders in the autism spectrum (ASDs), the other two being Asperger syndrome, which lacks delays in cognitive development and language, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (commonly abbreviated as PDD-NOS), which is diagnosed when the full set of criteria for autism or Asperger syndrome are not met.”
